About Arteether Injection

USE:

Malariais a vector borne infectious disease caused by protozoan parasites. Oil based arteether injections are used as anti-malarial drugs, specifically for the treatment of chloroquine resistant Plasmodium falciparummalariaand cerebralmalariacases. Arteether is a fast acting blood schizontocide.

Side Effects:

Headache, nausea, cough and dizziness. Body ache, general weakness, vomiting, pain at inj site, abdominal pain, leg pain, chills and rigors and watery diarrhoea.
